The League City Book Discussion club is entirely patron-led and has been meeting at the Helen Hall Library for more than a decade, making it one of our longest-running adult programs. New members are always welcome! Reading the book is not required for attendance.

This club encourages readers to get to know those famous books they may have heard of but never read - at least, not since high school. We read fiction with major cultural significance, either "classics" or books that have won major prizes. Please note: It is not necessary to read the book to be welcome. We often discuss the movie also (if there is one). New members welcome!

Do you love to cook and want to add to your repertoire? Or is your meal prep more like an episode of Nailed It or Kitchen Nightmares? Join us on the second Saturday to explore new cookbooks, swap recipes, and discover tips and tools!
No specific book to read! Try a new recipe or grab an old standby based on each monthly theme. Bring a copy of the recipe to share with the group.
