"Renegades is the first book in the Renegades Series by Marissa Meyer, set in a world of superheroes and supervillains called the Renegades and Anarchists, respectively. The Anarchists are craving revenge against the heroes for getting rid of Ace Anarchy, and nobody craves it more than Nova Artino, who is willing to do whatever she can to make them pay for getting rid of her uncle.
Each character is unique in their own way, and they’re easy to fall in love with as they’re realistic and aren’t invincible and unflawed. The point of view in this book switches between two main characters on different sides, Nova the Anarchist, and Adrien, the adopted son of two well-known heroes, the Renegade. The series as a whole contains twists, turns, betrayals, and characters you may never expect, and this book will have you on the edge of your seat as you turn each page for sure."
